Former University of West Florida senior wide receiver signs with the Kansas City Chiefs with the hopes of making the 53 man roster. Anas played one season at UWF and he finished with 46 catches, 719 receiving yards and 8 total touchdowns. He had a total of three 100 yard games and 181 receiving yards against Chowan. I spoke with Anas briefly and he had this to say "I visited wit the Chiefs pre draft and we have been in contact. I knew that's where I would end up. There's one mission, make the 53 man roster. Then its on to the next goal." Anas is also the first football player from the University of West Florida to sign with a pro football team, and many athletes, students and coaches around the campus are very excited for him.
